Thursday doors: doors from Italy

Image by Sheree who is a regular in Thursday doors photo challenge

How I miss travel! And my old job in tourism industry. Oh, well, at least I’ve got a LOT of photos to remind myself of all the places that I’ve visited. This Thursday I’m sharing with you a couple of door photos from Italy, mainly from the regions of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna. I love old door knockers as you can gather from the photos below. I’m sure I’ll find more Italian doors for future Thursday doors posts.

Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site , anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).

  1. The travel industry definitely has faltered since COVID-19, but I believe it’s picking up steam as the world is slowly vaccinating everyone. We shall see if we can resume travel again! Thanks for sharing your lovely photos, Tanja!

  2. I too have been yearning to travel (abroad, as I’ve been able to travel a bit here in the US) so thanks for sating that yearning a tiny bit. 🙂 I love the knockers and the busts in the wall of the top middle shot remind me of some I’ve seen in France.
