I’ve visited Helsinki, Finland earlier this month. My main reason for visiting Helsinki was to meet up with my Finnish friend. But of course, I’ve done a lot of sightseeing too. I’ve visited Oslo and Stockholm some years ago too but back then I wasn’t interested that much in taking photos of doors. So, here is now my selection of beautiful, interesting doors from northern European city of Helsinki. If you want to see some other photos from Helsinki besides doors, you can check out this post.

I love the owl above the one door! Funnily enough, I was over in Finland for just over a week this month also visiting a friend!

My favourite is the second last photo with the lake in the background. Lovely pastel colours and I like the contrast and the ornate timber work. Helsinki has some amazing doors. I so enjoyed visiting there and taking photos of them too

Oh, that second one. The sun dapples the textures of the door. Darn people putting up notices on nice doors hey?😏

I was following your Helsinki city break on IG, and it looked like a lovely time. The architecture of the doors were a nice touch, I can imagine. All the doors galore!

Ooo, so many fine doors indeed! My favourite is the second one. Just please fix the link so that it leads to Dan’s latest post, not to his blog as such. And/or, even better, leave the link in the comments there so that others will be able to find your wonderful doors.
