2023 on the Red Phone Box travels is a short overview post of my blog’s highlights last year. 2023 was a year of travel (Krakow, Helsinki, Padua, some Croatian trips, London) so there’ll be more travel posts here on the Red Phone Box travels. As you’ve already come to know me quite well, I’m not really up-to-date when it comes to blogging about my travels but you’ll read all about our last year’s travels at some point.

In 2023 I posted more often, made new blogging connections and surpassed my previous years’ statistics. All of that couldn’t be possible without you, my readers and followers and blogging friends, so I’m deeply grateful to each one of you for sticking with me and my travel blog. I’ll try to do even better this year.

I was very pleased with all the guest posts. Once again, I thank Wayne, Rebecca, Louise and Usha for their excellent posts. I learnt a lot!

You can read all about my year in short in my 12 months & 12 photos post or read my monthly life posts for every month of the past year if you have missed something. As I have already stated above, we travelled a lot this year. 2024 will probably be more about other things than travel but perhaps that’ll mean that I’ll be able to publish all about our travels from the past two years (such as our trip to Postojna cave, Slovenia from Nov 2022).

I finally changed my blog’s theme/look. I change it every few years since it’s actually an arduous task and in the end I’m never completely satisfied with my new look anyway. So, I might change it again soon. I’d like to create my blog’s logo too.

Obviously my personal posts attract a lot of likes and comments which isn’t a surprise because we are all curious about other people’s lives. I enjoy reading these kind of update posts from other bloggers too.

As usually most of my blog’s visitors/followers come from the USA, the UK, Croatia, India, Canada and Australia but last year I got a lot of visitors from Germany and Austria. However, I get visitors from practically every corner of the world.

Plans for 2024:

If I look at my last year’s post it seems that I fulfilled practically all of my travel wishes/goals. We visited again Brijuni islands with our kids. I went to Helsinki and had a wonderful time exploring it with my best Finnish friend. And I celebrated my birthday in London! We really don’t have any concrete travels plans so far but I’m sure that we’ll travel somewhere this year….

Regarding this blog, I’d like to write about all our remaining trips and perhaps even post about some other topics. Of course, I’ll continue with my monthly posts and Christmas content as well.
