Thursday doors: colourful doors from Volosko shows you a couple of beautiful doors from a small seaside settlement near Opatija and Rijeka in Croatia. There’s a little port for small fishing boats and a couple of rather well-known restaurants as well as a very delicious cake shop. You’ll find charming, narrow streets and art galleries too. You can walk by the sea all the way from Volosko to Opatija. Andrija Mohorovičić, a world-famous scientist who worked in the fields of meteorology and seismology, was born here. This is a great collection of doors, Tanja. I was set to call the green arched door my favorite, until I saw that door at the bottom. It’s a hard choice, but that photo is remarkable.
