Life & blog update: October 2024 was an uneventful month. Well, at least for me. My kids and my husband had plenty of fun without me while I spent most of the time at work. And I didn’t get my promised holiday at the end of the month. October wasn’t all that miserable but it definitely wasn’t one of the better months this year.

Those of you who follow my blog for a long time might remember that my husband plays A LOT of board games and that he even designs them. He also visits the board game fair in Essen (Germany) every October. This year he presented his first published game Choconnect at Spiel Essen. At the moment you can buy Choconnect in some Croatian shops but soon it’ll be available for purchase on a major European website. We are all very proud of him! Choconnect is a perfect game for all gamers and chocoholics!

Kids had plenty of fun in October. A couple of play-dates, daycare/school day trips, birthdays, conventions. They also had a Halloween party at their daycare/school. Halloween parties are getting more popular in Croatia even though we already have a tradition of carnival and dressing up as scary or funny characters.

My husband and I saw a stand up show at the end of the month. I really needed a good laugh and I wasn’t disappointed.

I have plenty of travel content to share with you from my travel filled previous two years but I just don’t have enough time nor inspiration at the moment. But that might change next year.

Actually, I’m writing this post on my first day of my short holiday. Yes, I finally have a few days off. And no, I’m not eating a cake in a posh cafe in some European city, I’m just at home with a full schedule filled with boring obligations and appointments such as dentists’ and kid’s checkups. But that’s life, it can’t all be butterflies in stomach and exotic trips. However, we have booked a family trip for my December holiday. Keep your fingers crossed that we actually go on that trip!
