Thursday doors: gorgeous doors from Tuscany

Boboli gardens, Florence, Italy

Thursday doors: gorgeous doors from Tuscany features a couple of gorgeous doors from Tuscany, Italy. I’ve visited Tuscany a number of times but I’m always delighted by the beauty of its architecture, art and the landscape. The first four doors are from a small, charming town of San Gimignano and the other four doors are from Florence. All of these photos were taken in May this year. Have you been to Tuscany?

  1. I’ve only been to Tuscany once – we drove there from Bologna and stayed just outside of Florence. I like this post – we share a love of doors! The top one of Boboli Gardens is especially lovely

  2. I love all the big solid wooden doors. A good way to shut the world out at the end of the day, ha ha ! I’ve not been to Italy, but it’s certainly a place I think I’d enjoy.

    1. It is lovely. It’s not the entrance to the gardens, that’s through Pitti palace, this is witin the gardens, a door leading to a tiny island on a tiny lake, sort of. Hope you have a great weekend!
