Life & blog update: November 2025…was actually a rather fun month. I got to try out some new things and travel for work. But let’s start at the beginning.

The star of the month was my son since we celebrated his 8^th birthday. He had several birthday celebrations as usually and he enjoyed them all. He’s recently started walking to school by himself. Previously he was either accompanied by my husband or by myself or he would walk part of the way with his friend but now he can go by himself too. My sweet, smart boy is getting more independent and grown-up.

I was in Vienna on a work trip right after all the Christmas markets opened in mid November. I really love Christmas markets so I wandered around the City Hall Christmas market with Glühwein in hand and I had excellent Lindt hot chocolate at Schönbrunn palace Christmas market.

This year we really used well Black Friday sales and got some much needed new appliances. Regarding entertainment, my husband and I laughed hard at a stand up comedy night. I wish we could do that more often. We’ve also managed to play all the new board games with kids that my husband brought back from the board game conference last month.

One of my best friends celebrated her birthday by inviting us to a wine & paint class. I was skeptical about it since I can’t draw or paint but in the end I had lots of fun (wine definitely helped). Furthermore, I am really pleased with how my painting turned out. I’m even thinking about doing the class again since you do a new painting each time.
