Thursday doors: interesting doors from Bassano del Grappa is a blog post that showcase some interesting doors from a lovely Italian town of Bassano del Grappa. We visited Bassano last summer on our way back from Venice. We strolled its streets and marvelled at its covered wooden bridge and learnt a thing or two about grappa production at the local grappa museum. I really liked this small town which still has that authentic feeling. If you want to read more about Bassano del Grappa check this post.

What is your favourite door from Bassano del Grappa?
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).

I always enjoy your door posts, Tanja and this one is particularly lovely. My favourite one is the door with the carved wooden vines.

The whole town sounds like such a hidden gem and now I really want to wander those streets (and maybe sample some grappa too 😉).

I love how even simple doors can tell so much history and character about a place. That former castle complex door sounds especially beautiful. Now I’m curious about the wooden bridge and the grappa museum too
