Thursday doors: San Marino doors.. is a post where I share a couple of beautiful doors from my trip to San Marino a couple of years ago. San Marino is a tiny country in the middle of Italy. I’ve visited San Marino with my husband and our son (our son was only 6 months old then, he’s now almost 4.5 yr). It was our first family trip abroad (we went on day trips before). We thoroughly explored San Marino and had lots of fun. We took our daughter to her first day trip abroad last summer (she was almost 2yr old then) but due to the pandemic she still hasn’t had a proper (read: several days long) trip. I know, I know..#firstworldproblems and hardly appropriate at the moment with everything going on in the world. But we are currently all at home in isolation due to my husband being sick with covid-19 so allow me to take the trip down the memory lane and reminiscence about my past trips.
So, which doors do you like best?

A door is not just an entrance, it is the first thing that strikes the visitor’s eye. And when it’s grand and beautiful, it appears inviting. Sadly, very few give a thought on this important aspect of a structure. I hope with this post, they will start paying more attention towards the door.

Sorry about your husband. I hope he’s doing much better. My favorite for the all-around is the house with the blue shutters, the window boxes, and all the flowers. 🙂

Choosing between doors is not easy, but I’ll choose that carpet any day.

It’s very hard to choose between these wonderful doors, but the double interior doors in the second photos from the top are amazing bits of craftsmanship. I’d love to just sit in that room and look around. The other doors are equally beautiful.
