I visited Amsterdam with my best friends in March 2025

Snapshots from Amsterdam (March 2025) is a short, overview post of my girl’s trip to Amsterdam. My two best friends and me flew to Amsterdam on Friday and returned home on Monday. Our other best friend joined us in Amsterdam from her home in Düsseldorf. It was a weekend filled with fun, sightseeing, many sweet treats and shopping. We booked ahead our visit to Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank’s museum for Friday and the canal boat cruise for Saturday. Decision to visit Delft on Sunday was a spur of the moment thing that happened sometime during Saturday. Of course, we’ve also wandered around Amsterdam after we returned from Delft. All in all, we had lots of fun together during our Amsterdam weekend!

Saturday: wandering around Amsterdam, peeping inside Heineken’s museum, canal boat cruise, eating a lot of unique treats, Begijnhof courtyard, shopping, late lunch, Red Light’s district and some more shopping and snacking

  14. Gorgeous! Amsterdam is a beautiful city, and I’m glad you visited the Anne Frank Museum and van Gogh museum; both are culturally significant sites for the Dutch in the country! Can’t wait to read more of your time in the Netherlands soon 🙂
