Really want to go back to Croatia. I went to some of the islands and it was paradise, so maybe next time I should hit the cities!

We’ve been to Zagreb a few times and honestly haven’t had much luck with the city – The first time we went we spent 5 days and it was going through a heat wave (40C every day). The 2nd time was last Christmas in between Belgrade and Split – spent 3 days and got really sick with the flu.
We love Croatia and are now residents in Split for the next year. Zagreb for me is more Central European (city reminds me more of Budapest or Belgrade than what I think of when I think of Croatia). Still a pretty place and we’ll be back someday and hopefully have a better experience 🙂

We liked Zagreb but I have to say it wasn’t one of my favorite cities in Croatia, I guess because the water was missing! But it was lovely and had a great atmosphere, very hip and modern! #CityTripping
