Thursday doors: more doors from Düsseldorf

Image by Sheree who is a regular in Thursday doors photo challenge

I visited my best friend in Düsseldorf, Germany last November. I have already shared with you some beautiful doors from a particular part of Düsseldorf called Kaiserswerth. In this post you can see a collection of rather pretty doors from the historical city center and from another part of Düsseldorf called Oberkassel. I’ll also blog about sights & sounds (and cakes!) from that trip too. In the meantime you can read about my day trip to the Netherlands which was a part of my visit too.

But now have a look at a couple of nice doors from around Düsseldorf for this Thursday doors link.

What doors do you like best?

  1. A lovely selection, I do love a good door. And I do miss Germany ! Number two is my favourite, there’s something fairy tale about it. Is it a cat carved over the top?

  2. These are all n=great doors. Thanks for including the close-up of the knockers. I wouldn’t have realized that they have different expressions. The multi-panel door is my favorite. Thanks for sharing with Thursday Doors.
