Snapshots from Düsseldorf (Oct/Nov 2021)

I spent a long weekend in Düsseldorf last year at the end of October/beginning of November. I went there to visit my best friend and her family. It was my first proper trip since 2019 and my first flight during Covid-19 pandemic. We walked around the old city center and had some great lunches. It was Halloween so I got to see some curious Halloween decorations as well as some early Christmas displays at chocolate shops. We had perfect autumn weather for my exploration of Düsseldorf. I took a lot of door photos which I have already shared with you in Thursday doors posts. In this post I put a selection of photos of various landmarks and attractions as well as some other things that caught my eye. I hope you like these snapshots from Düsseldorf, Germany.

  1. Have I ever been to Dusseldorf? Yes, but when I was only about ten years old and I remember nothing about it! Thanks for the snapshot tour 🙂 I thought the area around the canal looks particularly nice!
