My husband and I visited the small, island country of Malta at the beginning of May (2022). We were based in the northern part of island Malta and from there explored the rest of the island by local bus. Of course, we strolled around Malta’s capital Valletta. We ate local sweet treats in Rabat and had a horse carriage ride in Mdina. I have found many beautiful doors and red telephone boxes. I particularly liked the so called 3 cities across the sea from Valetta. We explored several other places as well. We have also taken the ferry to the neighboring island Gozo.
So, here’s a selection of photos of various landmarks and attractions from around Malta as well as some other things that caught my eye. I hope you like these snapshots from Malta.

I’ll write about the attractions that I managed to visit during our trip to Malta in a separate post eventually. This is just a photo post to show you all the highlights from my trip to the beautiful, Mediterranean country of Malta.
Have you ever visited Malta? What were your highlights?

I visited Malta in 2018, and although it’s a small country, it packs a lot of history and sites to see! I personally enjoyed Marsaxlokk, along with Saint John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta, and Mosta/Mdina. The food was all too good, from sea urchin pasta to pastizzi. Can’t wait to read about your time there in detail!

We visited the cathedral too and Mdina was one of my two favourite places.
