Snapshots from Berlin (April 2019)

Berlin will always be remembered as the first city that we visited after becoming parents but without our toddler. It was a short city break, a perfect adventure before the second baby arrives. To be honest, I didn’t think I’d like Berlin very much but it surprised us both and we liked it better than we’d expected. It’s a vibrant cosmopolitan city with beautiful old and new architecture and a painful history that should never be forgotten. We were lucky and had warm and sunny weather which helped our exploration of the city. We walked a lot but we’ve also taken advantage of Berlin’s cheap public transport.

I’ll write more about the attractions we managed to visit during our short weekend in Berlin. This is just a photo post to show you all the highlights of our trip to the beautiful German capital. Hope you like these snapshots from Berlin.

  1. You are welcome Madam.. ☺️
Yes, you are right. We also scratched the surface 😂
Just Alexanderplatz area can eat up 1 day. Imagine how many days are needed to thoroughly explore Berlin? I believe several years..

  2. Oh I love Berlin – so big and colorful and unique. Not like anywhere I’ve been. The street art is just so fun and compared to Copenhagen, the food scene is delicious AND affordable. Now you are making me crave Currywurst and Döner Kebab! Great museums and shopping too. Thanks for sharing with #FarawayFiles.
