I feel like I could just copy & paste the blog overview post from 2017 about my blog in the past year. I got pregnant and I gave birth. 🙂 In 2017 we got our boy and in 2019 we got our girl. But that’s were all similarities end. I actually blogged quite a lot in 2017 (78 posts) unlike last year (43 posts). Of course, my traffic decreased but that’s what happens when you don’t blog (and travel) regularly because you’re too busy raising a toddler and looking after a baby. I know, I know, excuses, excuses… so jealous of other mummy bloggers who travel across the globe with their little ones. However, we did travel last year but just not as much as I had wanted.
No, scratch that. I wanted to go on a trip just with my husband and we went to Berlin and had an amazing time. I wanted to go on day trips as a family with my boy and the growing baby bump and we did that too. So, I shouldn’t really complain about our lack of travel. After all, we are blessed that we have the opportunity to travel at all. My only regret is not blogging more (maybe I could change that this year? ). I won’t repeat here all we did last year. You can check my archives for my monthly Life&blog update posts if you wish to read more about our activities last year.

What posts did you like? What would you like me to write about?
Plans for 2020: I have a backlog of travel posts to finally write and publish (not just keep in my head). Our travel plans are humble and nothing has been booked yet. I want to go on several day trips as a family of four and I want a proper trip too (a road trip abroad, maybe Austria or Slovenia? We went to San Marino with our boy when he was just 6 mth old). Also, it’d be really lovely if my hubby and I could elope somewhere again, maybe at the end of the summer? I’ll be back at work in the autumn so there might be some work trips too by the end of the year (so looking forward to that too). Ant that’s it. Hopefully, I’ll blog more but who knows…
What are your travel plans for 2020?
Thank you for following my blog! You’re the best!:)

I just noticed your theme – The European travels of a chocoholic. Who could resist following that blog? I love the picture of your husband and little boy? walking through the trees.

I completely understand being frustrated that trips are limited to more local places instead of going to further places like you were used to. And not getting to write as much due to a toddler! I’m also a bit jealous of some other mom bloggers – I’m hoping that by the time my son is 3 or 4 it will be much easier to travel with him and we can go more places. But it looks like you still had a nice year and so lovely to have your little girl now! 🙂

I think exploring your own backyard is just as rewarding as travel further afield – it always amazes me what i find on random road trips.
My travel plans for this year include a week at home for my mum’s 90th birthday and my sister & I heading back to the UK for 3 weeks. We will be in London for a few days and heading to Scotland for a road trip. So exciting!
